We offer different discounts based on the age of your home, the number of losses you’ve
had and the amount of business you do with us. Remember, all of the following discounts
may not be available in your state, and discounts may vary by state. Check with your agent
for all the details.
- Preferred pricing If you qualify for our preferred program, you can get a
reduction (varying by state from 14 to 20 percent) off our standard rates, over and above
other deserving discounts.
- Companion credits If you have a "companion" auto insurance policy with
us, we’ll give you a 10 percent credit on your homeowners premium.
- New home discount Newer homes qualify for premium discounts, varying by state.
- Home protective devices discount Discounts are given for certain smoke detectors,
burglar and fire alarm systems, and automatic sprinklers.
- Loss-free discount In some states, we offer a 5 percent discount if you’ve
been insured with us continuously for three or more years and you haven’t had any
paid losses.
